The Scriptorium was founded with the purpose of sharing our life-long love for pretty stationery by providing high-quality and adorable stationery items of all sorts at a completely affordable price! Like so many others, we grew up with an absolute love of collecting cute pens, pretty notepads, and one too many sheets of glittery stickers. In utilising this passion for the aesthetically pleasing and equally adorable writing materials, we sought out all kinds of stationery that was virtually
impossible to source in South Africa, and we can’t wait to share it all with you!

All our bookmarks and postcards are a proudly South African creation! Handmade locally, each bookmark and postcard is made from seeded paper ~ plant the postcards for some pretty alyssum and poppy flowers, or use your bookmark to grow your own patch of rocket and basil! As a free gift to you, the business cards we pop into each box sprout into forget-me-nots when nurtured properly ♡
